Course reserves are materials faculty have requested be made available to students for reading assignments. Most course reserves at the R.A. Williams Library are textbooks.
Course reserves are located behind the library service desk. Materials on course reserve may be checked out for two hours at a time and may only be used in the library. The limited checkout time is to give access to as many people as possible. A textbook may be on reserve for a class of 30 people; the two hour limit prevents one person from monopolizing the book at the expense of the rest of the class.
To find book on course reserve, you may ask at the service desk, or you can search the course reserves online by professor, course number, or course name.
To display a list of all textbooks on reserve by Course or Professor, select a search option (Professor, Course Number, or Course Name) and type . in the search box (a single period).
